example), soap and metal objects: no need to buy different papers for different
surfaces. And if you fancy making the most stunning personalised candles they're
ideal for transfers onto wax too: the candles will burn normally - if you can
bear to watch your creations disappear, that is! You need to upgrade your Flash Player!
This web site makes use of the Macromedia Flash Player version 8 or newer. VIDEO PLAYER and Streaming Video Service.( this video shows how to use the inkjet water-slide paper, you use the laser
paper in exactly the same way but you do not need to spray it with acrylic spray
after printing.) Use our laser water-slide decal sheets to make all sorts
of personalised gifts for friends and family (and for dolls
and their houses!): see our project
inspiration for heaps of fun ideas. Remember, if you don't
fancy creating your own artwork and scanning it, there's a
boundless supply of stuff out there on the internet ready
to be downloaded and used to create your own unique decals!
This is how laser 'water-slide' decal paper works, download our instruction
sheet. Choose the right sheet according to the colour of the surface to
which you will be applying the decal: broadly speaking you'll need clear paper
for light backgrounds and white paper for dark backgrounds. Print your image
(or text) onto the paper using your laser printer: no need to seal the ink before
submerging in water. After submerging your decal is ready to be transferred
onto your project. And once you've done this you just need to wait 24 hours
for the transfer to sink into the object so that the edges cannot be felt. Perfect!
Once purchased you should store your decal paper carefully (aware from moisture)
and use it within one year.
