Fire retardant fabric (sew and wash)

When we saw this fabric we thought it would
be a very useful fabric for our customers.
It is a man made fabric made out of 100%
polyester but it is fire retarding and printable
through any kind of inkjet printer. It does not
have a backing paper to help it go through
the printer, it is stable enough to go through
on it's own. You do have to be careful which
side you print on because it does have a set
print side, we will indicate this when you
receive the fabric.

Because of it's fireproof properties you could
use this fabric to make lampshades or covers
for candle holders. You can use it for any
fabric project which needs to have fire
resistance. If you make commercial fabric
projects for institutions, hotels etc then you
will know that the fabric will be safe to use.
Nowadays health and safety aspects
are becoming more and more important.

The fabric would be easy to sew using a
machine but it might be a bit tough for
hand sewing. It is slightly creamy in colour
and has a lovely translucence. It will not
fray when cut with scissors and is water
resistant, so can be washed or wiped with
a damp cloth and the printed images will
not be affected, the weight is approx.
235 gsm.

We are selling this fabric in packs of 5 A4 and A3 size.
You can only use it in an inkjet printer.
