ReviewImage My friend now owns the "Kerr's Miniature Railway"(opened 1935) in Arbroath, Scotland. She and her son (now 13) want to continue to develop the success of the Miniature Railway and I offered to help her with some promotional ideas. The Picture I have sent in is just one of them. It is created from one of her son's childhood drawings of the Railway, scanned, text added then printed onto painted Linen Inkjet Fabric and finished with hand and machine embroidery. Sheila Roussel

ReviewImage Hello,
I made this wall hanging for The Embroiderers Guild exhibition in Winchester, and am pleased to say that it won the People’s Choice.
I am a W.I. speaker showing the ladies my work. They always want to know about the printing, so I direct them to you of course.
I am seventy-two, my only regret is that I left it late in life to get creative!

ReviewImage This image shows my sampling for a fashion project for children's wear. By using your organza inkjet fabric I have scanned in a sample of my design so I can then see how it would look layered on embroidery. I also used this method in my first year of my course in another fashion module as the fabric was great to applique on and then embroider on top.

ReviewImage Hi

Thought you might like to see the kitten photo I have printed out on your paper backed linen. I am afraid the shot is not very good, so I have also attached a macro shot which shows the fabric quite well.

I have many ideas for the use of the linen and silk, but have yet to get round to experimenting!!

Best wishes
Jan Peel

ReviewImage "What do you make from our papers?"

I use the washable printable materials. I print my own miniature patterns to make soft furnishings and upholstery for my Art Deco Miniature House.

I have only just discovered your website and it has given me the impetus to design and have my second miniature house built. (Plans sent to my builder this week!). I was wavering over the second house decision and now that I am able to have the patterns that will be unique to me I have a renewed interest.

ReviewImage Hi,

This is a Travel Journal I made using your products. I have listed the
details below. Many thanks.

info'
The Travel Journal was a gift for someone who was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of charity for a loved one. She wanted to take the journal with her and write about her experience along her route.

I collated pictures/info to represent her journey and pasted them all into a graphic's file on my computer.

ReviewImage I am sending you photos of Casa Fabricas, a 1/12th scale interior design & soft furnishings shop window I created for a miniaturists club competition.
I used your cotton, organza, and linen sheets to create all the materials on display except the upholstery on the chair. The designs were taken from various sources including real fabrics and my own photographs, changing the colours and sizes using Photoshop.

ReviewImage I would very much like to enter a project of mine for your competition.

I love your ink-jet Linen sew on A4 sheets. The quality of the print is excellent and they have a wonderful texture that lends itself well for my vintage themed products.

The image was taken from a 1940's photograph and printed on to the Linen paper with the added words.." I do like to be beside the Seaside' to give it a holiday flavour.

There is no mistaking the luxurious quality of pure linen - with its open weave, natural ivory hue and soft drape. And here we have pure linen sheets that you can print onto using your inkjet printer. Easily! No mess, no fuss. These fabric sheets are water resistant but not washable. Printing text, images and photos onto our linen sheets is no more complicated than printing them onto ordinary paper. But the results are stunning and will add a fabulously elegant touch to all sorts of craft projects, from curtains and cushion covers to quilts and cards.

The linen takes the ink beautifully. Leave it to dry for an hour or so after printing, then peel off the paper backing sheet and it's ready for you to sew or embroider. Once sewn into your craft project the linen fabric can be washed - with no risk of your images washing away.
